6,1% flamand vörös ale
Verhaege Vichte Sörfőzde (1885) Vichte
The “Red Princess” is a Flemish red ale born from the blend of “young” and “mature” beers aged in oak barrels for 8 and 18 months respectively. Its captivating ruby-red color, wine-like flavor, and, not least of all, its namesake, Mary, Duchess of Burgundy, have earned it the nickname “the Burgundy of Belgium.” Its refreshing tartness is balanced by pleasant sweetness, and alongside its fruity notes, a surprising touch of chocolate emerges. It bids farewell with a long-lasting, acidic, and dry aftertaste. With its rich flavor profile, it is an excellent beer specialty.
