A masterpiece of the brewery, crafted based on the flavor profile of the Kasteel Donker aged for 10 years. Its appearance is meaningful, and its intense aroma is intoxicating. Rich, malty flavors are subtly accompanied by notes of plum, raisin, and cocoa. In the finish, after a brief alcoholic prelude, a pronounced bitterness appears, followed by restrained, honey-like sweetness, and a pleasantly spicy, tangy flavor. Thick and very smooth. An elegant beer, the elements of its extremely complex flavor profile melt together in wonderful harmony. The Premiere Grand Cru Classé of beers!
