Abbaye Notre-Dame de Scourmont (1850) sörfőzdéje (1862)
A clear, mirror-like beverage. Its pale gold color is accompanied by long-lasting foam. It is highly carbonated. In terms of aroma, there is a delicate interplay of honey, smokiness, and forest mushroom notes. It has a substantial body that fills the mouth, yet it doesn’t feel heavy. The lively acidity from the carbonation pleasantly stimulates the palate. The flavors of acacia honey and smokiness reappear on the palate, but towards the end of the sip, the hops take over and become dominant: this is the most bitter beer in the entire Chimay family.
