Description
3,6% almás búzasör
Huyghe Sörfőzde (1654), Melle, Kelet Flandria
Its bouquet is dominated by apple, though the wheat beer's fine yeast aroma is also recognizable in the background. It has a great and long-lasting froth. The beer's fruity flavors are dominated by apple, which is no accident, since 30% apple juice had been added to the beer prior to mellowing. The delicate aroma is achieved by the addition of numerous secret spices. The sweet taste is secured both by fructose and by maltose. The use of hop is extremely discreet; it appears only in the after-taste. This beer makes even those interested in beer consumption, who are normally no beer-drinkers.
