Brother Isidorus was the first master brewer at the Koningshoeven Abbey, and this fine beer specialty is crafted in his memory. When smelling it in the glass, you might feel like you’re walking through an orchard with your eyes closed. Its extremely complex, fundamentally sweet flavor is built upon fresh and dried fruits: citrus, grapes, raisins, dates, plums, alongside caramel, roasted malt, and pleasant spiciness. Its finish is piquant, subtly spicy, with a soft bitterness that almost imperceptibly sneaks in alongside the sweet-fruity flavors.
