Description
6% flamand vörös ale
Rodenbach Sörfőzde (1836), Roselare, Nyugat –Flandria
“This is wine.” proclaims an old poster of Rodenbach, the most renowned brewery of Flemish red ales. Rodenbach Cru is a classic example of Flemish red beer. This beer exhibits the most similarities to wines, both in terms of its flavor and aroma, as well as its burgundy color. This style is aged for years in large, open oak casks. Similar to a good red wine, it develops spicy, vanilla flavors from the oak, and the tannins impart a pleasant tartness that excites our palate. This strongly acidic and unique brew undoubtedly finds a place on every connoisseur’s top ten list.
